Charlie has to stay home from school to help his brother, who is in a hip-to-toe cast after breaking his leg in a football game. But that means Charlie has time to investigate a series of break-ins that have the whole neighborhood on edge. Who could be behind the thefts, and whose house will be next? As Charlie tries to piece together the clues, he realizes that perhaps the easiest way for a thief to avoid suspicion is to hide in plain sight.
